About these terms
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Active Precision Physio and Sport Therapy, located at Suite 604, 325 Howe St, Vancouver, BC. “You” means anyone who uses this website or our services.
Not medical advice
The information on this website, including articles, exercise guidance and answers to common questions, is for general information only. It isn’t a substitute for an assessment, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health professional.
Don’t start, stop or change any treatment or exercise based only on what you read here. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Using this website or contacting us through it doesn’t create a patient–practitioner relationship. That begins when you attend an assessment with our physiotherapist.
Booking appointments
You can book online, by phone or by text. When you book, please give accurate contact and health information so we can care for you safely. Online booking is provided through a third-party booking system, which has its own terms.
We may need to reschedule an appointment, for example if your physiotherapist is unwell. If that happens, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and help you find a new time.
Cancellations and missed visits
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please give us at least [24] hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone else.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged a fee of [$__]. ICBC, WorkSafeBC and most insurance plans don’t cover these fees, so they’re your responsibility.
Fees, payment and insurance
- Fees are due at the time of your appointment unless we’ve agreed otherwise.
- Our current fees are available on request and may change. We’ll let you know before any change applies to you.
- Where we offer direct billing, we’ll bill your insurer on your behalf. Any amount your plan doesn’t cover is your responsibility.
- Coverage depends on your plan. Please check your benefits before your visit; we can’t guarantee what your insurer will pay.
ICBC and WorkSafeBC
If you’re being treated under an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, please give us your claim number and Personal Health Number at your first visit. We’ll work with ICBC or WorkSafeBC as your claim requires.
If your claim isn’t accepted, or treatment isn’t covered, you may be responsible for the cost of your visits. If ICBC or WorkSafeBC pays less than our fee, we’ll tell you before your first visit if there’s any difference for you to pay.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, Active Precision Physio and Sport Therapy may send you text messages about your appointments (such as confirmations and reminders), replies to your enquiries, and, only if you’ve agreed, occasional clinic updates.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 604-428-3266.
- Agreeing to receive texts isn’t a condition of booking or treatment.
- Mobile carriers aren’t responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We don’t sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not try to interfere with how the site works, access it in an unauthorized way, or use it to send spam or harmful content.
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that it’s always complete, current or available without interruption.
